Welcome to Rookhope Primary School. We are a small 2 class primary school with Preschool provision for children aged two and over, located in Weardale in the North Pennines. We share a Headteacher with St John’s Chapel and Forest of Teesdale Primary Schools and work closely with our partner schools to provide an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum for our pupils. Team work, collaborative and outdoor learning are key elements of our school ethos.
We aim to inspire our children and create a life-long love of learning. We expect excellent behavior, kindness, respect and good manners from our children and in return, we strive to give every child in our care an excellent education. At Rookhope Primary School, we value parental involvement and we take every opportunity to engage with our families and the wider community.
